1. I don’t see any external calendars to import (for Android devices).
Please check the following in your device settings:
- Go to [Settings > Accounts and Backup > Accounts] and verify the connected account.
- If an account is connected, ensure that “Calendar” is enabled in [Sync Account].
2. The event is registered in the external calendar, but it’s not showing in the Signaling app.
For external calendars used on your device, it may take some time for the events to sync with other services. If the issue persists, try the following:
- 🍎 For iPhone user:
- Go to [Settings > Calendar > Sync] and make sure “All Events” is selected.
- Enable “Push” under [Settings > Calendar > Accounts > Fetch New Data].
- In the Calendar app, pull down to refresh, and check if the events are displayed.
- 🤖 For Android user:
- Go to [Settings > Accounts and Backup > Accounts > (select the account you’re importing from) > Sync Account] and make sure “Calendar” is enabled.
- If enabled, click “Sync Now” in the top-right menu.
3. I modified an imported event, but the changes were lost when I imported again.
When importing, Signal overwrites the existing event title and time with the latest information. However, other details like color, attendees, and notes are preserved.
4. It takes a long time to import events.
If there are many events in the selected external calendar, the import process may take a bit longer (around 30 seconds).
- Please check if your network connection is stable.
- If the number of events exceeds 500, the process may take longer.
5. I see an error message saying “There are no events to import within the selected period,” but I know there are events.
Please ensure that there are actual events in the selected external calendar for the chosen period. If the issue continues, please refer to [외부 캘린더 일정 가져오기 사용 가이드] for further troubleshooting.
6. The event created in the external calendar is not showing in the Signaling app.
Signal does not automatically sync events from external calendars. To reflect newly added events, you need to manually import the events again by specifying the desired time range.
7. I edited an event in the Signaling app, but the changes are not reflected in the external calendar.
Imported events are not linked to the external calendar. Changes made to imported events in the Signal app will not be reflected in the external calendar.
8. Who is the owner of the imported events?
All imported events are registered as “My” events.
